Children with special needs are born with certain musical abilities, just like their normally developing peers. Music activities to be held with children with special needs not only contribute to their social, physical and mental development, but also develop their verbal and communicative skills. Our aim in this project is to develop simple musical instruments with special needs students from our country and international schools and to perform orff supported rhythm studies with the developed musical instruments. Our second goal is to create a joint work with children of the same level by positively affecting all development areas of the child with the musical instruments developed by the children in this project and the rhythm they create.

Özel gereksinimli çocuklar da tıpkı normal gelişim gösteren diğer akranları gibi belli başlı bazı müzikal yeteneklerle dünyaya gelirler. Özel gereksinimli çocuklarla yapılacak olan müzik etkinlikleri bu çocukların sosyal, fiziksel ve zihinsel gelişimlerine katkıda bulunmakla birlikte, sözel ve iletişimsel becerilerinin de gelişmesini sağlamaktadır. Bu projede amacımız ülkemizin ve uluslararası okulların bu alanda tanı almış özel gereksinimli öğrencileriyle basit düzeyde müzik aletleri geliştirmek ve geliştirilen müzik aletleriyle orff destekli ritim çalışmaları yapmaktır. Bu projede yer alan çocukların geliştirdikleri müzik aletleri ve oluşturdukları ritimle çocuğun tüm gelişim alanlarına olumlu etki ederek, aynı düzeydeki çocuklarla beraber ortak bir eser oluşturmak da ikinci hedefimizdir.
